Yesterday Jake Locker finally completed his first full practice after injuring his hamstring on August 7th. His return couldn’t be soon enough as he is working with a team of young, inexperienced receivers with only 12 days before the Huskies’ first game of the season against Oregon.
Here’s a break down of Jake Locker’s practice time thus far:
- 8/4-8/6 Jake is passing great and is in great shape during the first three days of practicing.
- 8/7 Jake injures his hamstring. MRI results later show a minor hamstring tear or strain.
- 8/8-8/17 Jake is unable to practice other than some light rehab testing.
- 8/18 Jake finishes his first full practice since being injured. He’s still not 100% and the coaches are being cautious with the situations they put him in right now.
Let’s hope Jake Locker can make the most of the next 12 days in preparation of the new season and against the Huskies primary rival: Oregon.

I’m so happy Jake Locker is back in action. Saw him on campus and he seems to be walking pretty well. Even if the receivers suck, Jake will run all over the Ducks!!!
